Happy Holidays 2012

It's the last day of Term and we are officially on holiday. We would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday. Thank you for leaving us comments and visiting our blog. See you all next year in 2013. Toys: Ball in the Cup

This term we are learning about Toys. Here are short clips about our class making making a ball in the cup, which is an old toy. We used materials that we had in the class and it was very easy. Watch and see the process. You can also find a clip here for the pompom.

2012 Film Festival: A Birthday Wish

Here is our entry to this year's Manaiakalani Film Festival. As a class we wanted everyone to take part in creating our movie. Every person had a part to play from learning lyrics and singing them, drawing graphics for the background, dancing and acting. Our movie is about a young girl who has a birthday and daydreams about the things she would really like, from meeting One Direction to driving a racing car. Rosalina's Narrative

One day Sandy and Michael went to camp in the forest. They packed everything that they needed. They always need a tent, a water bottle and a toilet paper. Just in case they need to go toilet. When it was night time they set out their tent. Sandy went out to get some wood for the fire. She came back to the place. But something was wrong, her brother was missing. “Michael!” she shouted. She looked everywhere even the toilet. She saw his footprints leading to a road. She thought about it. Sandy thought and said in her mind “he’s been kidnapped!” She kept on following the footprints. She stopped and met a man holding balloons she said the strange man “have you seen my brother?”. “No” he said, he said it in a strange voice. Are you sure? cause it sounds like you know him said Sandy. “No, I’m really sure about it” he said. Sandy found her brother Michael, he was at the shop all along. She said did you trick me? No he said.

I have an older sister named Kalesha and an older brother named Sean and I am the youngest in the family. My favourite game is TeeBall. My favourite song is My Baby. My favourite food is pizza bread. My favourite colour is pink and blue and dark red.
