2012 Film Festival: A Birthday Wish
Here is our entry to this year's Manaiakalani Film Festival. As a class we wanted everyone to take part in creating our movie. Every person had a part to play from learning lyrics and singing them, drawing graphics for the background, dancing and acting. Our movie is about a young girl who has a birthday and daydreams about the things she would really like, from meeting One Direction to driving a racing car. Please leave us a comment when you've finished viewing and we will be sure to share the love. Click here to see entries from 2011.

Revival's Olympic Writing so far...
Here is Revival's paragraph about the Olympics so far. We are very proud of all the New Zealand athletes competing in London.
Do you know how great our Olympics team is doing? At the moment New Zealand have 3 gold and 4 bronze but no silver yet. Last week when we looked at the medal table New Zealand were 37th and now they are 14th. Our New Zealand Olympic team won gold in rowing and won bronze in the Equestrian. I am proud to be a New Zealander.

Happy Holidays
There are only 13 of us here today in Room 9. Here are some pictures of us sharing what we've done. We started looking at similes, some of us made animations, we did some reading and presented plays: The Ant and the Grasshoppers, Little Red Riding Hood and The Stone Soup. We cleaned and packed up our class, played some games, ate popcorn and watched a re-run of P.E.P.A. Click here to read about it.
We wish you all an awesome and relaxing holiday. Watch this space for more of our work throughout the break.
