Our trip to MOTAT

On Monday 5th November, the children in Year 3 went on a trip to MOTAT. It was a wonderful day filled with lots of learning and fun. Here are some photos of our time there. A huge thank you to all the parents that came and helped us on the day. Fakaaue lahi!

2012 Film Festival: A Birthday Wish

Here is our entry to this year's Manaiakalani Film Festival. As a class we wanted everyone to take part in creating our movie. Every person had a part to play from learning lyrics and singing them, drawing graphics for the background, dancing and acting. Our movie is about a young girl who has a birthday and daydreams about the things she would really like, from meeting One Direction to driving a racing car. Basketball Lessons

Our Solar System Dioramas

As part of our topic "Outta this World" we made dioramas to show the order of the planets in our Solar System. We also wanted to show the estimated sizes of the planets. Do you know all the names of the planets in our Solar System? Check out dioramas and leave us a comment.

Bin It Champions Week 3 and 4

Every week of the term Pt England School has "Bin It" awards given out at assembly. They are awarded to each class at the end of the week only if your bay area is always clean. Room 9 works hard to keep our area tidy and this week we were awarded not one but two certificates. Thanks to Mr J who's in charge of "Bin It" every week.
