Happy Holidays from Room 10

We have finally finished the school year, here at Pt England School. All the children and staff are now on holiday. BUT that doesn't mean our blog is. We realise that some schools around the world are still working hard. So, over the next coming weeks until February 2nd 2010 (first day of term) children's work will still be shared and posted on our blog. We thank you all for visiting us and posting us postivie comments over the year.

Best wishes
Miss Lavakula and Room 10@Pt England School

Our Trip to MOTAT

As part of learning our team (Room 9, Room 11, Room 12 and Room 13) all went to MOTAT to learn about Christmas. Here are some photos of our time there. Despite the rain, we still had a lot of fun. From playing in the Challenge Zone and doing the Christmas Trail to the Mirror Maze, decorating a Christmas Tree and Making Chocolate. Thank you Antoaneta and team for looking after us.

Limerick Poems have 5 lines and are meant to be silly/ funny
The first, second and fifth line rhyme and they have 8-9 syllables

Jouan's Weekend

A few weeks ago it was Halloween and it's celebrated particularly in America. However, here in New Zealand not all children go "trick or treating". Listen as Jouan shares her writing about what she did during this weekend instead.
