Inside the Life Education Bus, it is really colourful. Lynn and her team have a done great job ensuring that each session is fun as well as informative for the children. This is Lee's paragraph that he has written about Carpet Kid.

When we went in the Life Education Van, Carpet Kid was a carpet. Lynn said there was blood in the bag but there wasn't. Carpet Kid was the size of a seven year old.

Happy Birthday Asena!

It's Asena's 8th Birthday and we were very lucky because she had bought in a beautiful and scrummy chocolate cake for us to all share. Here is a picture of her scrummy cake!!!

Today is also the last day of Term 2 for us and now we're on holiday. But as always on blog isn't and so, there'll be children's work being post for the next 2 weeks. We return on Monday 19th July.

Disaster Day by the Suns

The Suns group were able to come up with the following together as a group.

Yesterday while we were at school doing normal work, there was a loud noise over the speaker. Before lunch we had to line up outside on the field. Mr Burt told the whole school, to leave and walk to Ruapotaka School. We watched a movie and ate our lunch. Mr Burt said it was OK to return to school.

An earthquake can happen anytime and any place. Tectonic plates slide and it makes a tsunami. It causes lots of damage. Some earthquakes are small and we can't feel them.

Our Trip to Maungakiekie
