Kiwisport: Softball
Over the last six weeks we have been learning about softball. We've had two coaches come and teach us skills of how to play. Thank you Miss Va'afusuaga and Kiwisport Auckland for teaching us. We love softball.

Kiwisport Softball
For the next four weeks, we are going to be learning about Softball. So far, we have learned about the different bases. A reminder for us is to make sure we touch the bases with our foot when we run around them. We also practiced our aim by throwing the softball and trying to hit the bat. Here's a short snippet of what we have done so far.

Mubashishir's Sotball Paragrapphs

Here is Mubashshir's writing about our game of softball that we played on Thursday 15th March, 2012. Well done Mubashishir!
Yesterday after lunch, Room 9 played a game of softball. We played outside our classroom on the school field. Our class was divided into two teams. It was Patriots and Breakers against Taipans and Giants.
I held the bat tight and whacked the ball high and it rolled on the ground. Then I ran hard to first base. I had to touch the base. My mates yelled.
I felt nervous, I had to win. I felt happy too when my group tried hard. Maybe next time we will win our game of softball.
