Sohel's Noodle Eating Competition

Here is Sohel's recount writing about our Noodle Eating Competition that we had on Monday. He did a great job with his sentence beginnings.

Guess what room 9 did today? Miss Lavakula placed five plates on the mat. This she put some cooked noodles on the plates. After that Miss Lavakula picked five people to eat the noodles. Then Miss said, “Are you ready? Go!” Then we gobbled up the noodles without using our hands.

Soap Making in Room 9

This term Room 9 and team 3 made soap using the cold process. We had to cut up the gylcerine and the white soap base and melted it in the microwave. Then we added colouring and fragrances. Don't they look beautiful!!

Antonia's Noodle Eating Competition

Here is Antonia's recount writing about our Noodle Eating Competition on Monday 11th July, 2011.

Guess what room 9 did yesterday? We had a noodle eating competition. Noodles were served on five plates. Then give people got chosen to eat the noodles. People shouted, "Eat it!" and some people won. Some people were laughing because some noodles went up their noses. After that we had to suck juice up off the plates and went outside to clean it with water. The noodles tasted delicious and yummy.
