Paul Martin

Paul Martin is a New Zealand comic book artist, graphic artist and ex-rugby player for the Chiefs. He came to visit our team to teach us about comics and drawing. Paul Martin talked to us about what inspired him to do what he loves and encouraged us to keep persevering even when things seems hard. Some of us were lucky enough to buy his book and he signed them and gave them to the children personally.

Last week we were very lucky to have Jesse Sapolu and Ma'a Tanuvasa along with others came to visit our school. They spoke to students from Year 4-8 students about American Football and how it can give others a great education. They also shared about how important it is for children to stay in school and get an education. Here is a short clip of their visit.

Comic Art in our Space

Our team are focusing on comic art. We've been learning about comic art from reading different texts in literacy. We've also based our animations on superheroes and are going to turn our stacks into comic like animations.
